Desolated

I close my eyes and I imagine or fantasize about the possible life that we could have together, when you walk towards me or when our eyes meet at first glance, I notice that the world suddenly fades away. There is no surprise that we were attracted to one another, two disappointed and lost souls that were just trying to find their ways towards peace and harmony. It is unusual that we hardly know each other but we have such a strong connection. I am willing to do any favor that you ask of me and I am going to cherish you and every moment we spent together. It’s a different story if things go awry and life goes on an unexpected voyage. Do you really want to know how I will feel if you were not here with me? Desolated. That moment when all the happy and joyous moments transforms into a period of forlornness and where I will be stuck in a pessimistic state for a very long time. Do you understand that I only want what’s absolutely best for you? I am not trying to sound modest or selfless but I could care less where I end up in this situation. Maybe that is where I mess up. Maybe I should just give up on my current relationships and just start focusing on myself. Or is me being sensitive, modest, and trustworthy the reason why I am in such wonderful relationships? I am just trying to express a certain emotion and I want you to feel the same strong passion I feel. Desolation just might be an excuse or a reason to stop caring and loving you. You were truly a blessing and now I feel like I have a second chance at life. Desolated is just what I might feel. If you disappeared like all the other people I care for then I would end up in a vortex of despair. It might be really tragic but our love is completely worth the fight that I will continue to fight until I have you in my arms.
