Despair

                                                                  Kingdom of Dreams

There lived a prince in a land far away,

seeking some adventure from the mundane.

Imaginary dragons he would slay,

o’er his make believe kingdom he would reign.

His family and friends did not believe

tales of his mighty strength and his castle.

When the prince told great stories, they would leave

for they thought he was merely a hassle.

Still he ruled over his kingdom alone.

 Family fought over this fantasy.

Taken from his world, taken from his throne,

the prince was forced to see reality.

Waste of time, all was lost or so it seemed,

haunted by his kingdom within his dreams.
