Desperado
You told me
That a small part of me wishes you’d just leave already
Because I’m suffering and emotionally unsteady
You told me that you make it worse
You keep me alive and to me that’s a curse
You said that to me living hurts and it would be easier to die
I hate to break it to you
But that’s the truth
That’s exactly how I feel inside
I love you to the moon
But sometimes I wish we never met
Because if we didn’t I wouldn’t be in this mess
I wouldn’t be full of regret
I wouldn’t feel stuck
If only I could forget
Everywhere we’ve been
Everything we’ve seen
Everything we’ve fought
Everything we’ve thought
Cause then maybe I’d be free
From this desperado inside of me
And I could go to a place
Where no one could trace
And I could be at home
Where is anywhere that I am alone
