Destined To Fly
Out the earth, Out the sky, I’m universal.
No limits, Can’t define me, I’m controversial.
No turbulence, got the wings aimed high.
Like a bird with an instinct, I was destined to fly.
My feet a root, My head to sky.
For the pain, I have silenced.
For the tears, I have dried.
For the beatings, I’ve endured.
For the screams, I have cried.
No longer stain this life of mine.
For now, I walk to the beat of my chest.
This hurt I wear as a badge on my breast.
Let my light guide me where darkness is found.
Where evil awaits; my enemies surround.
Out the earth, Out the sky, I’m universal.
No limits, Can’t define me, I’m controversial.
No turbulence, got the wings aimed high.
Like a bird with an instinct, I was destined to fly.
