Destinies

Life is not about making our dreams reality,

life is about making reality our dream.

We are taught we control our own destiny,

but look back

and you'll see,

others have decided for you

more than once

what your destiny will be.

Choices made for me

were greater than for some.

But I could never change it.

And I would

never

change it.

This path is mine,

from beginning to end.

What I do with it now,

is my choice.

What we do

with what we are given,

is what makes us who we are.
