Destiny

Do you rather be taken or single?
Committed to someone or ready to mingle?
You'd be surprised at what you'd pick
Because the perfect life is nothing but a trick
Keep believing destiny will find its way
Show you your partner and sweep you away
For once reality strikes
It will be too late
You'll wake up in a sea of spikes
Drowning in hate
Nothing will change if you stay seated
For God doesn't act for what you have pleaded
Life puts you in situations,
Which you've never been in before,
With no expectation
For you to answer for
You do what you can
Either forget it or think of a plan
Nothing is handed down
If you believe so
Then you'll always have a frown
Regretting everything you didn't do
Realizing that's exactly what you rue
Destiny is merely for marketing
To make you forget how life is darkening
Never lose grasp of what is real
Otherwise your opportunity will soon seal
Go out there and catch what you desire
For happiness is what you'll finally acquire
