Destiny, Home!

"A fool speaks when he wants to say something. A wise man speaks when he has something to say." - Plato

From this very qoute does my inspiration and admiration for poetry blossom. Seldom do we as human beings, in an interconnected global society, stop and ask ourselves during the course of a day whether or not the words we've used in those moments were full of filling, expression, or meaning. Through poetry and writing I am able to evaluate my words and thoughts from a inward "looking glass."

It is, by no means, by this self-evaluation, do I believe myself better than any other person or group of people. However, what poetry and writing offers me that is the realziation of the inevitably, that no man livings forever. But, it is through our words and our actions that our legacy lives on. Therefore, my writings are not just the works of a artist, but the suddle expression of a soul in a world most volumous.

Poem:

At times life feels like your in a box with no holes,

As everyone around you reaches goal after goal,

Diagonal in a universe unparalleled to your own,

Take stock in these few words, know peace in this alone:

Though you start at one corner, destination out of zone,

Keep true to your course and believe from your soul,

Stay focused, use reason, with a friend by the phone,

Believe that you'll get there, your destiny, your home.
