Destroyer

So what will it be, Destroyer? Would you really kill us all? Can you bear to watch these last rays of life die? You don't have the strength nor the courage. Can you walk through deserts and waste- always breathing, never living- until the ends of time? What do you know, Hero? I am time. I am strength. I am courage. I am life itself. You come at me to stop me. Well where is your weapon, Hero? You talk and talk but in the end all you can do is walk away.

I don't write poetry but sometimes a good one just pops out of me. Probably once every other year. I'm a college student and recently declared a minor in English so hopefully I'll get around to writing more.
