Destruction?

Here’s to you for tearing me down.

I can’t believe I ever wondered

If this is the end.

It’s like there’s no room to breathe.

The light dissipates as we’re plundered.

Here’s to you for tearing me down.

There’s a weapon to unsheathe

To make sure that we aren’t sundered,

If this is the end.

Slowly, the shadows leave their wreathe

And no longer is the force hindered.

Here’s to you for tearing me down.

People vowed, “I prithee.”

Heard in air, the chaos was ordered.

If this is the end.

The strength will overpower from underneath --

Like a god awaken. No longer slumbered.

Here’s to you for tearing me down

If this is the end.
