Destruction on Earth

Tue, 02/06/2018 - 19:47 -- BKline

Dear Mother Nature,

Why do you punish the innocent

And make the wind, the fire, the water and mud your instrument?

What makes these storms so strong?

So strong, that all people can do is scrape along

To cling to any memories they have.

Why do you tear what people made apart?

Their whole life must stop and restart.

All at once our lives are stopped.

Forcing those to weep and be shocked

That all they had is gone.

So Mother Nature,

Why do you bring these disasters to earth?

Why did you cause Hurricane Katrina and the Los Angeles Earthquake?

These natural disasters only cause distress because

All that they had is gone.
