Determination

Vision is fuzzy, and body aches.

Laying in a bed of golden flowers.

Knees covered in dirt, arms and legs bruised and scratched.

The light of the surface, shining down upon you.

A tunnel up ahead, rays of light escaping it.

Quiet water drops patter onto the ground from above.

You're not sure where you are, but...

Something about this place gives you a burning feeling.

A feeling of hope to escape this dangerous place.

A feeling of achievement to survive here.

This feeling of...

Determination.
