Determination

I was born with an outlook to always be the best,

My Destiny was never to be like the rest,

My mother gave me a name that meant crown,Queen that set me apart,

It meant Supreme,

Her perfect dream,

My Father a musician never playing secondary in my life,

He was a Daily, constant, Funny, Witty and Spiritual that’s right,

His Guidance of Love unimaginable and very precise,

He gave me all he could at a early age,

Losing him to soon was life, a knife that cut the strings of my adolescent stage,

Leaving me to deal with lost, pain, hurt, anger,

A shred of life that I had to Untangle,

Putting it into words,

I became that woman Of essence,

I learned how to fly with broken wings,

Education become my Driven dream,

Buried in books and work carried the weight of my pain that made me gain,

I became into my own though the rage,

A lady of caliber,Outstanding citizen,

But don’t look at me, as I am no different,

I am blessed,

Strong-willed and willing,

To live life at my best,

Determination I wear as a crown that Will someday help others and mark my foundation as I become a great success.
