Determined

As life goes on I wonder, I wonder if I have anything to offer What will I ever accomplish in life? Will I make it in todays society? Believe in yourself child, you can do what you want to do, So they say, So I've heard, But can I make it? Can I really do what I put my mind to? Or am I getting false hope. Well I really don't know. All I know is I will try, I will try to go on in life with my head held high, Because if I don't then how could I begin to ask why why didn't an African American girl life me not make it? Because then all ill hear is, you never tried. I don't plan to fail in life so that's why I plan to attend a college. College will be my key to success and from then on I will never stop learning and growing. Life is a never ending battle between yourself and the society your in. Right now I'm in a place where I need to make it out. So I stop wondering and begin my dream to become what I've always wanted to. I will make it because I am determined.
