Devastations that the world deals with on its back

Drunks and liquor, which ultimately creates defeat Is it just me, or are you tired of seeing bodies and debris at your feet? Lies that turn matters worse Why does this world feel as if it’s cursed? Tensions spiral in the Middle East We have fought long and hard, but still we have no world peace Diseases, illnesses, and cancers Can we find a better answer? Sometimes it’s so painful for anyone to salvage With an abundance of ravage But two words with four letters battle each other everyday Evil Live Even though live is spelled backwards, how could it have such a different meaning from evil? There is one thing both ideas share however If you live long, you'll see a lot of evil
