Deviation

Slowly I grab hold and wonder why i'm here.

I want to save lives but I was busy ruining my own.

To God be the glory as I slowly draw near,

His grace, His mercy has brought through tears.

One day my dream will come true.

A life will be safe though my hard work.

Firefighting sounds nice or an EMT too.

One day I might just save someone like you.

So easily I deviate off topic and want to express my apprecition for a new life thats been given to me.

I resolve the issue on the grounds that power poetry is about writing and not just a scholarship.

Trial, tribulation, blood-sweat-tears, addictions, dissapointment, lessons learned. Don't you see?

He is the way, the truth, the light, he saved me, healed me, forgave me, and all I have to say "to God be the glory."
