The Devil is A Liar

Many have sought fame, riches and glory,

paying the price for following the advice of the greatest liar to ever tell his story,

First he said out loud “follow me”,

and everyone who did eventually fell like an old withered tree

Then he took the righteous man to the highest mountain,

told him “ worship me and your fame will sprout like a fountain

But then he set his sights on all of humanity,

attempting to destroy all hope for complete sanity

For many centuries after that,

He rewarded those in power for their inhumane acts

He used the limited powers of human thought,

tcconvince some to accept racism as the greatest lesson ever taught

Then when that plot began to wither and fail,

he decided to have all men of color locked forever in a cell

Incredibly he still wasn’t done,

he made drugs the only reason some people want to see the rising Sun

But I am not too far from being removed because I was his best pet,

strangely enough he still keep sending me threats

However I have news for him that I want all to hear and this is my testimony so let’s keep it real and clear,

as long as you come for me Jah will always push you to the rear and shower me with blessing year after year after year.
