Devil's Deal

Alone I stay, My lady has gone away. A horseman came today and won my lady's love. Away they ride, Away from me. The darkness creeps in, I know that I must sin. So I call the devil, And make a deal. The contract I used my blood to seal. To make the horseman pay, For what he did today. From my window I watch him dread. As the flames of Hell rained on his head. With the horseman gone, I see my lady kneeling by his body. I suspect that she is crying. Then from the distance I see, The Devil standing by she. She makes a deal, Her blood she seals, And her life is taken away.
