The Devil's Scheme
Hope
and the moment you went away
I fell to lust as a recovery for my heart
The devil looked me in the eyes
and by then I could feel the piercing burn
The devil's wraith breathing down the back of my neck
his tail collapsing every frail bone in my body
But God you opened my eyes
I can see again
you hold the truth
I drew the sword and cut through the sin that was holding me in
He held one last stand and in my hand the shield of faith
protected me
the one true God gave this to every one of us
Hope
