Devine Creation

It is in the late hours of the night that my thinking is clearest

When my imagination runs rampant

Spinning stories from the fabric of my mind

Nothing is impossible at 12 am

There is nothing you cannot do

You can fly a plane

Travel the universe

Create a world in your name

This time is really spent doing

Doing things you'll never admit

Using the power of your mind

To twist fate

And change the course of history

Distort past decisions

And control the people around you

Change your life

Flip it over into what you want it to

Not the something that it truly is

But you're just lying to yourself

When the sun rises in the morning

The magic is gone

The world you created

Turned to dust

All you're left with

Is droopy eyes

And regret.
