Diamond in the Rough
I know your not lost somewhere
I know that you really don't care
I gave you my heart, pure as gold
You gave me a stone that was cold
Still I'll never forget the day
my heart stopped when you walked my way
Too painful to know that you'll never feel the same
Still to this day i think of you
I don't know why?
But yet I do
Knowing that it really doasn't matter
Cause all are memories were shattered
Sad to think but one day you'll see
That girl you thought you really knew
Will break your heart right in two
Then maybe my love would be enough
but you left the diamond in the rough
I will give my heart to thee
Someone who truely cares about me
My love will always stay true
Tis' why it shall never be near you
Even though you broke my heart in two
i must admit and say
I'm still in love with you
Which gives me still the pain
I have to move on cause you don't feel the same
Maybe one day you'll realize what you lost
That little diamond in the rough
