Diamonds

Long term thoughts.
Something to do, polish to glisten, before I die.
Diamonds come roughed up before they shine.
Jeweled up, with him, and the presence of mine.
The ones I was given, and to, in this beauty called life.
Deep in my thoughts.
Thank you lord, for everything that I got.
