Diana
It's a little strange
To see you so upset
Over so minor a detail
That would hardly keep me up at night.
It's been months
Or, at least so it seems
Since you've last spoken with her.
Did she break the pact?
I don't really understand
What's going on
Between the two of you.
That was the old Diana,
But she's since been replaced.
Not by me, of course
But I really don't mind.
I'm not really suited for that role anyway.
I am not your twin,
The moon to your sun.
The hunt that juxtaposes your music.
Though to me you are Apollo,
not that you'll ever know.
I am not your Diana,
Your twin, so to speak.
But I do wonder,
what your new Diana will do,
So fragile and pure,
When she finds her Orion
What she will do to you.
I am no Diana,
Well not to you,
When she finds her Orion
What, oh What shall you do?
Would you goad her into killing him,
As the original myth had gone-
Or will you abandon her,
This young and fragile girl.
As you had with your last Diana,
When she chose her Orion,
But not necessarily over you.
