Dictionary Definitions
There is no easy definition to who I am.
A dictionary could not begin to cover all that I am.
I can sit here and use easy, generic adjectives to tell you how I feel about me- "fun, nice, smart, friendly.."
But that won't tell you anything about me.
It won't begin to cover anything.
To condense a human to mere adjectives is like describing the sun as yellow.
I mean, it sure is yellow, but that doesn't begin to explain it's sheer power and magnitude.
It won't begin to cover it's strength.
It won't even tell of it's sheer importance.
I think of myself the same way.
I could sit here and pass myself as a straight-foward, uncomplicated, four adjectives type person, but not without doing myself a disserve.
I am the sun.
My power and magnitude takes over.
My strength is of great proportion.
I am sheerly important.
All of these things are seemingly overpowered by the darkest of the night, but just because you can't see the sun, doesn't mean it's not still there.
I believe it is the same with me.
I became the sun because I know what it's like to be the moon.
To be overshadowed, overpowered, underappreciated.
You have to go through the dark to get to your light.
To become your own sun, you must take your world and revolve it around you again.
This is viewed as selfish, but it is utterly important to be the sun of your own universe, or else someone else will be.
And that is no good at all.
Don't condense yourself to a single definition.
Allow your circumstances to shape your inner you.
I am sheerly important. Make this your mantra.
I am the sun.
