Did I Do That?

Sounds like what you might call
a senior moment
a gap in time
that leaves one clueless

Preparing to do something
you've already done
want to do again
because it was so much fun

No stop drop the mic
lip hanging low
like a deer in the headlights
I've been there you know

Put on a movie
it begins to watch me
wake up and start it over
as if it were something I haven't seen

Gone to pay bills
even paid some twice
I ain't got it like that
now that ain't right

Age is a trip
if you've got it like this
gotta to write down everything
to find out what you've missed

You'll just have to laugh
cause a time will come
it ain't just me
it happens to everyone

Some won't find it humorous
it might make some mad
so you might as well laugh 
if you've got it that bad

Went to post a poem
thought it was nice
then when I did
saw I had done it twice

Did I do that
yes I did
it a dog gone shame
when a minds on the skid
