Did you realize

We were in my backyard naming the stream that crossed it,

amazed by how dirty the water looked on top of the mud

And how clear it was after gathering some and putting it in the bucket

We ran around the block at sunset with sparklers

scaring eachother by throwing fire crackers at the ground

Choosing which neighbor's house to go into as it got darker

When was the last time we were all called in for dinner?

sophomore in college wishing I could go back

We never realized the last time we were all together
