Didn't Even Notice (the real tragedy)

I can't say when it really happened

that I started to fade away.

But you, my sister, didn't notice

as my eyes were filled with grey.

now you say "My best friend died tragically."

to new people that you meet.

And yet you didn't even notice

As I stepped in to the street.
