Didn't Wate My Tears

I filled up my mid with false beliefs about you. Some days I believed them and some days I was confused. I fell in love with your potential I saw every time I saw you smile. It made my heart eat so fast and my mind go wild. What did you do to me? That's the question I ask myself more than ever. I always imagined it'd be us together. Two years in the making and we were the best of friends.. High school sweethearts, who knew it would ever end. I saw something in you that I think you never saw. Something about you always left me in awe. Even when I'd get mad or jealous about somethings.. It never changed what you meant to me. But I understand now, that maybe this road isn't for us. Maybe you were in my life to restore my trust. Although things didn't go quite as planned, I'll always be here to hold your hand. You were truly my first love and I wouldn't change that for the world. I'll always be in your life, even when you get a new girl. The life I had inside of me due to our love, will forever be up above. I have no doubts that we would've been the greatest parents one could ask for.. But we have to learn to love ourselves more. Sometimes I want to start all over and give birth to your legacy, but I know to trust God's will and ability. I just thank you for the things you taught me these past few years.. It was all for love so I didn't waste me tears.
