Diffence Between loving and being in love

I always knew there was a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone

But I didn't know how being in love actually felt

Until she had me swimming in her pond of lies

Until she had me waiting for something that wasn't real

Until her mouth was always seal when I asked" how you feel ? "

How could you tell me I was special to you ? If you never showed it

Had me thinking you was the right one for me

Had me thinking we would have a future

I was so one-minded to the point I only wanted you

I was so one-minded to the point I wrote paragraphs everyday telling you how much I love you

I always had to think should I believe it ?

Should I really think your love for me was complicated ?

Should I think the words I love you = 8 letters + 3 words = 1 lie?

Being in love with you was a lesson

Being in love with you taught me to not invest my time in the wrong person

Being in love with you taught me not to wait for something that isn't real

And Most importantly to love the right person because the word L.o.v.e = Life Offers Valuable Experiences

You taught me that

Since your love didn't provide valuable experience

I will find it within someone else
