The Difference

Beauty is the eyes of the beholder

That's why he always found beauty in my body

And you always saw it in my eyes

He was only looking for one thing; and liked what he saw

You were looking for something a little deeper than skin; in awe about what you discovered

Months go by and it feels like days with him

Months go by and it feels like a life time with you

Numb, emotions a lie, blind

Alive, emotions new and breath-taking aware of how things should be.
