The Difference
Her eyes are clear and her heart is true
She longs for a smile from me, from you
You and I can make the difference
Her appearence is different than yours and mine
She wishes people would give her a chance to shine
You and I can make the difference
She longs to have some kind of friend
We dont always realize when we condescend
You and I can make the difference
Just one act of kindness would light up her life
Words used for good, not to cut like a knife
You and I can make the difference
