A difference

Hebrews 11:1 New English Translation (NET Bible)

People Commended for Their Faith

11 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.

Maybe life is different as I observe it

Maybe truth and facts are what I can’t see

Maybe after all my hunger for understanding

Is based on my own mind as this indeed can be

Maybe beyond the stars reside all the answers

Maybe this old universe is much too confined

Maybe outer space is shrinking and cramping

And is just too small for me and too refined

Maybe all nonsense should be rolled up in a ball

Maybe it should be kicked about until it’s silly

Maybe it would bounce off my mind or cling to my foot

Since it seems made up of a strange color jelly
