Difference between love and indifference
I love you son, so I ignore you. I love you son, when I need to impress a new girl. I love you son as long as you love me more and never question why I am not around. I love you son with all my heart that's why you are a stranger.
I love you son, that's why I sing to you when he is gone and you are sad, I love you son that's why I smile when I look at you...just because. I love you son and smother you in kisses hoping my love will make you forget him. I love you son which is why I kiss your boo boos and encourage you to be better.
I love you Dad for showing me the man I never want to be. I love you Dad for your failures because I will learn from them. I love you Dad for making me like a ghost so I know how it feels and never do that others. I love you Dad for not being there for me so I could have a special relationship with my Grandfather who tried to be you for me. I love you Dad for teaching me the wrong way to love.
I love you Mom for your fierce love and protection. I love you Mom for never saying negative things about my Dad, allowing me to make my own judgements. I love you Mom for your callused hands and tired feet from working so hard to raise me to be a good man. I love you Mom for encouraging me to fail so I could feel success. I love you Mom for showing me how to love.
