The Difference Between Us


The machinations of my mind Geared toward victory to find. Such honor my heart's desire A sword, a horse, a shield To strive with mortal dire Through the gory battle field. But these fantasies of War To thee, seam so plain and bor. Your hand with sweeping brush Lays an entraping maze Of figures in colors so lush That all must stop and gaze.
