The Difference Between You and Me

You shout hi, I wave.
You glide by, unfazed.
I trudge through each day.
You’re happy, okay.

Your smile's broad, mine's gone.
Your face lovely, mine drawn.
Your hands open, mine clenched.
Your cheeks flushed, mine drenched.

It’s easy, for you,
But I, I barely get through.
