Different

So many thoughts

I have inside my head.

I’m different

Because of them.

Writing.

It’s a passion.

It’s my escape.

The one way I can get all these ideas out.

The paper,

The computer,

In which I write-

They can’t tell me I’m wrong.

They can’t yell at me if they’re offended.

My ideas are good.

And no one can convince me otherwise.

I want to get them out into the world.

I want to make a difference

Because I’m different.

And I believe that’s okay.

So many feel alone.

Feel desolate.

Feel sad.

Because they don’t know it’s okay.

They don’t know it’s okay to be different.

To be gay,

Straight,

Atheist,

Christian,

Liberal,

Conservative.

I just want everyone to know

That it’s okay.

It’s okay to be yourself.

It’s okay to be different.

And that’s why I want to write.

I want to write about the chaos.

The chaos people go through

Because they’re scared.

Because people don’t understand what they’re going through.

I want to help.

And writing

Is the one job that may change my life.
