Different

I am different, so I am hated

I am different, so I am alone

I am different, so I am unaccepted

I am different, so I sit on an "outsider's throne"

I am different, so no one understands

I am different, so I hurt love or it hurts me

I am different, so I am not a specific "brand"

I am different, so no one sees what I see

I am different, so I sing a better tune,

I am different so I am unique

I am different, so I am creative as the month of June

I am different, so I am an antique

So what if I'm an outsider or I don't "survive"?

I am DIFFERENT, not afraid, and alive
