Different

I walk out of high school into a world

Filled with complacency

Hypocrisy

Even lunacy

But no matter what I do or say

I can't get anyone to see

That  I see what they can't,

I  hear what they won't,

And I  think what they don't

Because in this world filled with

All these things, I sense that I'm different.

I've had enough of e-mail and e-trade

E-this and e-that,

And the only I we haven't seen from Apple

Is the one that sees this world as it really is.

This is what I see in this world where no one can see

And the technology is advancing more rapidly

Than the answer of, "I don't know" to a math equation.

The message that I'm saying

Is that I can see

How my future lies before me-

Just another road in a world

Where nobody can see

Just how difficult it is to feel like

You're the only one who can.
