A Different Day
My tear stained face seems to haunt me everyday
As much as I try to run away
I can never run fast enough
As soon as I'm alone I can't fight them
It seems that they are my only way to fight the pain
I don't want to self inflict cause that would be wrong
It would only bring me temporary peace just like the tears
Then I would have another problem
Too many things going wrong
I can't stand who I see in the mirror
I try to change it but nothing seems to work
Why can't I stop crying
Why can't I be happy
Don't I deserve that
The person I speak to says nothing
She just looks at me with those pitiful eyes
I wipe the tears away and say to her tomorrow will be a different day
