A Different Disappointment
I wear my pink, yellow and blue like a suit of armour
Music is a portal to another universe
I can lie through my teeth but it kills a small part of me
A social anti-social
I know exactly what I want, it isn’t a phase mom
When a storm starts my eyes flood
The thundering sobs through my room
Yet it was all for a gigantic yet tiny character in a novel
Hiding in a cave away from pain and suffering
Most times hiding isn’t exactly the best idea
I never try to show what’s underneath the surface
A bull in a china shop that is my mind
Never knowing where I’ll go
Does not matter where I will go as long as I stay true
Bang boom smash all I need sometimes
I may be different but I am no success
Maybe all I will ever be is a different disappointment
