Different Eyes
Eyes come in different colors, and different stories.
Children develop theirs when they are young, adults change theirs everyday.
My eyes tell a story, whether or not I show it.
Yet people think it is their duty to write my story, when they don't even know me.
Being a different color, my story is written.
Being a different race, my story is written.
Being a girl, boys have written my story.
Why do boys see girls as an object?
Why do girls see boys as a father before they even know them?
People are like stars, we see how luminous their life can be.
Yet, we never see the inside until they burst open, and die.
Eyes tell different stories that us as people can never interpret correctly the first time.
A million eyes tell a million lives, why should we judge just one?
