Different Generations, Same People

The automated words stream out

"It's ok, it's ok, it's ok."

When will anyone wonder if she herself

knows the way out?

The temptation of the world show no mercy.

She doesn't even know who is really trustworthy.

People only tell you what you want to hear.

Just trying to make their own dreams appear.

Selfishness is what our generation is called.

But weren't they once our age as well?

What's so different between us and them?

Something that no one can seem to fully comprehend.

Psychology has evidence we are actually all the same.

Just technology makes it easier to find the pain.

Circumstances may now be different.

Don't get caught in contradiction.
