Different Kind of Love
It’s so easy to trust You
When everything is going well
But it’s hard to keep my faith
When my life’s a living hell
I know Your will is great
And Your plans are pure and perfect
But can You change a sinner
Who’s all broke down and worthless
You loved me through my problems
You held me through my pain
You walked with me through fire
You were my shelter in the rain
But how do I repay You
I reject and push You away
Yet in my disobedience
By my side You always stayed
See that’s what great about You
You have a different kind of love
The not the because of
But the in spite of
Not because I worship You
And not because of my praise
But in spite of the fact that I reject You
And I constantly push You away
Through all the pain I’ve caused
And the sin filled life I’ve lived
In Your presence I’m still consumed
And in my heart You’ll always live
