A Different Kind of Love

This is about a friend of mine who felt like a brother to me, and he would get bullied a lot for his hobby of playing games. I wished I could help him out without making anything worse. He eventually ended up moving away and I don't see him that often anymore.

I love you even

Though you’re not mine,

I love you

With a love

That’s different

Than love,

I don’t love you

Like I love someone else,

But I still

Love you

And I want to make

You feel happy,

But it’s okay

If someone

Else makes

You feel

Happy;

I just want

To see you

Feel happy,

And I just

Want to see you

Smile again.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
