Different Paths

Time is ticking away

and in the blink of an eye everything has changed.

Those friends you once knew

each on their own path

so that when you meet it is

"Hey long time no see."

Each with a family of their own

their passions

their careers

their own identity.

You no longer fit into their pictures

but then again they don't fit into yours.

So it begs the question as to has changed?

Is it you?

Is it them?

Is both?

When your paths brached only to meet once more.

RAWR! My life revolves around music, especially rock/post metal core. Songs are poetry with a melody, which can save us from this cruel world we live in. Honestly, I've lost a lot of hope, and am working to recreate it through poetry. I wish for others to see the impact they have on others. Please leave comments, I'd love to hear your opinions. :) "So I can take this pen, and teach you how to live. What is left unsaid, the greatest gift I give."-"Saviour" by BVB
