different tired

its not the usual kind of exhausted.

i dont feel heavy, like ten pound barbells are in my eye sockets

or like my blood is molten steel instead.

no, my arms are not limp and lifeless

and my legs are not aching in discomfort.

no, its not heavy, in fact....

i feel weightless

like i am a feather floating abut the clouds

or a raft swiftly and smoothly

gliding across the tops of swells.

my lungss expand and contract

like the wind itself is flowing in and out of my mouth

and i feel clean, but cleaner than clean

i feel dry and crisp, like an autumn leaf

this is not the heavy kind of exhausted ive felt for so long

maybe im really changing
