THE DIFFERENT TITLE
- I'm new to this
- This poem most likely won't be your best
- Life is hard
- I've come to the realization it's not easy
- Incoming college freshman, everything seems like it's going to be fun
- But then you lose yourself in sex and drugs
- Trying to succeed and get a degree
- You keep promises to yourself and to God
- But you haven't kept a single one
- You can't call and ask your parents what to do, they'll be disappointed
- You're supposed to be grown now
- By yourself you're losing friends off of simple mistakes
- Feeling sad maybe even depressed
- But why? I understand college can be stressful
- But you're full of ambition, happy, and strong...
- No one knows, no one sees but God
- Life is too short to be ssad, before you know you'll be out of college
- On to bigger things
- Like they say, when times seem bad something good is surely coming your way
- I prey, it's the truth
