Dilemma

My name is Emma I’m stuck in quite a dilemma You see, how can a young girl pay for school? Everyone tells her that there’s just one rule Scholarships are the way They’ve helped everyone to this day The trick is to just sit down and apply But making the effort, is what everyone denies Now how to get myself to focus? When I keep telling my mom that this is bogus I realize now ill be completely broke “Scholarships save me” is what I spoke I finally sit down in front of the computer For this, I’m not in need of a tutor Now I’ve got my head straight And of course it’s not too late I thought I could make this sappy But then no one would be happy Full of joy is what a scholarship would make me I guess ill just have to wait and see
