A dime told the time

Cynthia Clairjeune

Poetry Scholarship

August 20th, 2017

Once Upon a Time, there was a dime

Every time the clock chimed

It would remind Princess Bell

That it's soon time

But she was confused

Time to clean ?

Time to be mean ??

Time to find the one?

Possibly someone son ?

Human or not

She didn't care for them being hot

Just have a nice heart

From the start

One day she came across a nasty beast

That looked rather scary then sweet

He came to Bell

But acted like he was under a shell

He stated he was originally human

Then a witch turned him into this mutant

If he didn't find true love

He’d stay hideous forever

Its noon and Princess Bell

Found yet another dime

remembering it's soon time

She hurry to the ball

trying not to fall

Dancing with beast

with their nice slow movements

You wouldve thought they were in love

By the way they danced or

by the way they hugged

But this story will remain untold

Just use your imagination to picture how their relationship will unfold

This beauty and this beast

is just a charming marster piece
