DIONTE

Thinking of you brings tears to my eyes and I dont even understand why?

Because if my body is numb and the place where my heart should be is a tomb

Then why when I look at you suddenly a boom in my chest takes my every breathe away

Suffocating in pain and anger you breathed new life ino me and called it love

You were my only other love and on that base you put me on  pedistol

But some how  lost my balance but instead of taking a chance

You let me fall but baby in my anger I made you feel it all

Yes I could have publically bashed you

And in all CAPS and exclamation points let everybody see how much I hated you

Call you every name in the bookof profanity that doesn't belong to you

But in the heat of my rage and blindness of my tears

I still couldn't forget these past years

DIONTE, I wish you were here

The source of so much of my laughter

And the promises we made to be here for each other

As if we were disney fairytales on our way to live happily ever after

But now broken down and confused

I must start over and try to embrace the hand of yet another

Live as if to never live again, laugh as if to never laugh again, and Love as if to never love again. I see everyday as a chance to learn something new and exciting and you'll never know unless you try.
