In Dire Need of Denial

How can you feel safe and assured -
When you know you’re being lured
How can you fabricate the only spectrum of existence -
Betraying all your brilliance

Removal from traditional denials,
Experience escapement from that oh, so tightly-cramped, locked prison
Where choices are nonexistent and obedience under authority is
mandatory
Experience immunity from the concocted lifestyle,
Where only simple-minded sheep need a shepherd.

Practiced again and again:
Forcing conformity down throats and obscuring the spirit of inquiry
Curiosity and scientific virtues have its own reasons for existence,
Fear it not.
True fear exists nowhere, but in tumultuous states of ineptness
Delusion promises everything by oppression,
Impetuous hope is nothing but the mere denial of reality

Why tighten the handcuffs on the wrists of wisdom,
The limitless expansion of wisdom –
Is that not life’s greatest reward?
